Created in 1988 by Nike’s advertising agency Wieden+Kennedy, the line “Just Do It.” is synonymous with the Nike brand. Inspired by convicted murderer Gary Gilmore’s famous last words, “Let’s do it.,” Nike has used the line on commercials, apparel, posters, magazine ads, sports equipment, and most recently, sneakers. The Nike Air Force 1 “Just Do It” is constructed with a leather upper, features allover “JUST DO IT.” graphics, an encapsulated Air Sole unit, and a rubber outsole.
